I have been lucky enough to have a creative life. I began as an illustrator in NYC, designed characters for an animated series (the Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers), enjoyed success as a computer artist then found my way to video games. My work has been in magazines, toys, posters, TV, billboards, shows, games and much more. I have been interviewed hundreds of times, been on radio, live streams and television. For the past 20 plus years I have been creating video games as an artist, art director, executive producer and game director. Now as CEO and co founder of Sledgehammer Games I have been given the honor of directing Call of Duty (MW3 and Advanced Warfare) the largest entertainment property in history. I created Dead Space for EA which went on to make four games, novels, comics, collectible figures and animated series. I have been fortunate enough to work on over 45 video games. These days I also lecture at universities, shows, high schools and even drop in on art classes. I deeply enjoy talking about a creative life and how rich and rewarding it can be. I like the idea of helping others with the same passion follow their dreams and their hearts into the career path I have chosen.
Through it all I’ve never stopped drawing and painting. I draw everyday and still get better by doing so. I never take the gift of art for granted. I appreciate all that I have been given and these days try and give some back.
